In an effort to produce more regular content on my blog between reviews, I’ve decided to regularly participate in WWW Wednesday! For those of you who might not be aware, this is a weekly book blogging meme hosted by Taking on a World of Words.
The purpose of this post is just to update those who follow the blog as to what I’m currently in the midst of reading, and have also just finished. I’m also hoping that it helps provide me a necessary boost of motivation in the middle of the week to power on through to the weekend!
Without further ado, lets dive in!
What Are You Currently Reading?

My copy of The Mirror’s Truth finally arrived in the mail and I can’t put it off for one moment longer. I read Beyond Redemption last month, and am really excited to see how the story moves forward here. I’m about halfway through right now so expect a review in the next day or two!
Synopsis:
Bedeckt defined himself by the list of crimes he was unwilling to commit. It was such a short list. How could straying from it have gone so wrong?
Bedeckt must undo the damage caused by wandering from his precious list. The Geborene god seeks to remake the world with his obsessive need for cleanliness and perfection, but Bedeckt is going to bring him down. Nothing can stop him. Not even death.
The two friends he abandoned in the Afterdeath chase after Bedeckt, bent on revenge. Psychotic assassins hunt him. Something cold and evil follows, lurking in the clouds above, shredding reality with its delusions. Madness and sanity war, stretching and tearing the very fabric of existence.
The dead shall rise.
What did you recently finish reading?

I absolutely loved Kings of the Wyld when I read it last month, and the second book in the series, Bloody Rose, didn’t disappoint either! Filled to the brim with action, intrigue and memorable characters – I loved this book! I’m definitely on a role with fantasy picks lately.
Synopsis
Live fast, die young.
Tam Hashford is tired of working at her local pub, slinging drinks for world-famous mercenaries and listening to the bards sing of adventure and glory in the world beyond her sleepy hometown.
When the biggest mercenary band of all rolls into town, led by the infamous Bloody Rose, Tam jumps at the chance to sign on as their bard. It’s adventure she wants – and adventure she gets as the crew embark on a quest that will end in one of two ways: glory or death.
It’s time to take a walk on the wyld side.
What do you think you’ll read next?

I’ll be moving on to The Subtle Knife next! The second book in Philip Pullman’s Northern Lights series – I’m very excited to see the ways in which Lyra’s journey is going to play out. I want to know more about Dust too!
Synopsis:
Lost in a new world, Lyra finds Will—a boy on the run, a murderer—a worthy and welcome ally. For this is a world where soul-eating Specters stalk the streets and witches share the skies with troops of angels.
Each is searching—Lyra for the meaning of Dark Matter, Will for his missing father—but what they find instead is a deadly secret, a knife of untold power. And neither Lyra nor Will suspects how tightly their lives, their loves, and their destinies are bound together… until they are split apart.
